Migrate Employee Users to Trimble Construction One (Trimble ID)

Migrate the Spectrum operator accounts for your active employee users to Trimble Construction One.

You must be an Enterprise Administrator in Trimble Construction One to perform this task.
Note: This is step 4 in the process to Invite Employees to Employee Self-Service. Before continuing, be sure to complete step 3, Bulk Create Employee Kiosk Operators in Spectrum.
  1. Confirm that your employee users have unique email addresses set up in Spectrum. For help, see Ensure That Employees Have Unique Email Addresses in Spectrum.
  2. Log in to Trimble Construction One with your Enterprise Administrator credentials.
  3. Select your name in the upper right corner and select Admin Center.
    Note: If you don't see Admin Center, you have not been set up as an administrator. Contact your System Administrator for assistance.

    If you have more than one enterprise, select it from the Admin Center list.

    The selected Enterprise Info tab appears.
  4. Select the User Management tab.
  5. Select the Add Users from Spectrum button.

  6. In the Spectrum Users section that opens, select the checkbox for each user that you want to add. You can add multiple users at one time.

    You can enter an employee's name in the Search field to quickly find that specific Spectrum user.

    Note: You cannot select users who are missing a name or an email in Spectrum. Users who already have access to Viewpoint Team are shown in the grid and cannot be selected again.

    Note: If you selected a user you do not want to send an invitation to, select Remove next to that person's name.
  7. Select Next.

    Your list of selected users displays with options to set roles across Trimble Construction One.

  8. In the HR Management Role field, select the level of access you want to assign to your HR Management users:
    • Employee users of Employee Self-Service should have a role of None.

    • HR team members should have a role of either Specialist or Admin.

    Note: The Enterprise Role field has two options: User and Enterprise Admin. The Enterprise Admin role should be assigned only to those users in your organization who should have administrative access to Trimble Construction One. All others in your organization should have an Enterprise Role of User.
  9. After you have assigned roles as appropriate, select Send Invitations at the bottom of the Spectrum Users section.

    This sends an email to the selected users, inviting them to set up their Trimble Construction One account.
